Queenstown's first and only geodesic dome just 25 minutes from the town centre along a gravel farm track on an exclusive site. A truly unique accommodation for the adventurer who appreciates luxury. The perfect spot for the best holiday pictures. Switch off to the outside world with no phone signal or wifi while taking advantage of the unlimited number of activities Queenstown has to offer within driving distance. Note- 10 minute walk to the lake front and 2 minute walk from the car park. Inside the dome the large clear front allows you to star gaze without having to leave your comfy queen size bed. NZ wool duvet, linen & blankets will keep you warm at night. Beautiful hard wood flooring with NZ sheepskins and rugs will make you feel like you're in the most luxurious of hotels. Indoor and outdoor dining options so you will be comfortable, whatever the weather. There is a solar powered socket for the bedside lights and to charge phones, cameras etc. Bathroom- Hot shower, flushing cassette toilet, sink & complimentary toiletries. Fresh towels daily. Kitchen- gas hobs, sink, kitchen utensils, crockery, glasses and the essentials. For wedding/elopement enquiries please message us before booking. We would love to host you for your special day. The entire dome site is yours for your stay with beautiful walks in every direction. On site parking on private land, free of charge. Please note, the car park is a short but uphill walk to the dome. Wear sensible shoes in wet weather and preferably bags that are easy to carry. No cars are allowed up to the actual dome. We are situated on a 3,500 hectare merino sheep farm, and you will see many sheep! Moke lake itself is a popular locals spot, the water is great for swimming during the summer and the 1.5 hour loop track around the lake is a must. There is no public transport. We recommend hiring a car (preferably 4WD)or pre booking a taxi in and out. No wifi or phone signal.
